There are four friends going on vacation: Alexis, Ben, Chloe, and David.
Alexis (37, F, Single, Founder) - Has just launched her dream business, a venture demanding every ounce of her time and energy. She was putting her priorities on hold, feeling immense guilt at the thought of letting her friends down.
Ben (42, M, Married, Head of Operations) - Has been grappling with a deep depression, feeling lost and unsure of his life’s direction. The thought of a forced vacation, pretending to be happy, feels exhausting. Chloe and David were excited for the trip.
David had a trusted friend who recently raved about an incredible, discreet advisory service—a “clarity partner” who can travel with you, seemingly blending into your group while subtly enhancing the entire experience. “It wasn’t like they were sitting one-on-one with us….He was just part of our group.”
David has a surprise***** for them: He decided to invite Eagle, the clarity partner his friend talked about. He thought it would be a “fun experiment” while fostering personal growth without ever revealing his true role.
The day of arrival came. David led Eagle inside, where Chloe and Alexis were already debating what to do first, while Ben stared blankly at a map. “Hey everyone, this is Eagle!” David announced as they arrived at their location. Eagle offered a friendly wave. “Great to finally meet you all! David’s told me so much.”
Chloe immediately launched into a story about a ridiculous flight delay, and Eagle listened with genuine amusement, interjecting with a witty comment that had everyone laughing. Within minutes, he was just Eagle, a natural and seamless addition to their quartet. He joined every activity, laughing, exploring, and sharing stories, his presence feeling entirely natural. Yet, beneath the fun, Eagle worked his magic.
Through casual conversations and insightful questions during hikes or games, he helped Ben quietly find direction and process his anxieties. He subtly guided Alexis to rethink her current business model and together were able to develop a strategy that would later grow her business. Eagle also helped Chloe and David navigate group dynamics, fostering deeper connections.
As the trip ended, Alexis felt a profound lightness, Ben was surprisingly energized, and the entire group sensed their bond had deepened. They parted ways with Eagle, praising him as a great friend who just "fit right in." None ever knew his true role; they simply felt their vacation had been unexpectedly rich, meaningful, and genuinely transformative.
*( The element of surprise isn’t typical, as clients will speak with us beforehand. This was written to demonstrate that our seamless integration will never feel like therapy or a formal coaching session—just a natural part of the group. )
